just been pulling up some old pictures of Belle Vue - some even before the row of semi-detached houses were built to the west of the stadium by the cemetery. One thing that sticks out to me is the scale of the west stand... it must be three times the height of the adjacent houses... very imposing



I am of an age that I stood in the south stand and along the western terrace, and in crowds of 15,000 plus

That West Stand did make a difference to the balance of the stadium. Hope we can get something back there one day.

Looking at that, it really looks like the terracing re-profiling will (certainly should), be extended and continue down the Western Terrace, when it is re-done. Fingers crossed.
