Maybe it's having more families at the game these days, or a wider spread demographic but our fans over recent years have been pretty poor.

Expectations have made us fickle beyond belief and while I agreed with many on certain aspects, we're certainly not the best fans in the league.

With all due respect the pricing structure of season tickets and matchday tickets somewhat discourages the more vocal fans from attending ie, oap tickets are very unexpensive and I would expect oap's to make up a fair percentage of the average following. Unfortunately oap's are not known for their vocal support and tend to just sit and applaud politely whilst drinking their tea/coffee.

Noise, yes, but not nessercarily atmosphere. Their air horns/trumpets and drums make most of their noise, as does the PA system blaring out MOT.

What's this 'heartache' you're supposed to have suffered. I can imagine that from the perspective of relegation suffering Salford and Cas supporters (not to mention those of clubs who never made it back to SL) being a Wire fan has been a walk in the park.

Wire fans atmosphere was the best we had at home this year. You had just won the semi the week before but credit where it is due.
