Ollie Pratt at wakey looks a good player. Still raw but huge potential. Would be a good pick up 

Also, at Bradford scurr looks a huge unit. Rave reviews for him in the championship, could be worth a shout.

AJ Wallace doesn't seem to get a look in at KR either, another unit.

If memory serves me correctly weren't we close to signing Scurr a couple of seasons ago? I believe we also took a look at AJ Wallace too prior to him signing for KR.

Ollie Pratt looks very promising but can't see him leaving Wakey now they have new ownership unless it's to a club like Wigan or St's etc.

That's the problem Chris, no one has to sell players.

Agree Dave and that's added to our problem of recruitment when you're in need of an almost full squad overhaul, not so bad if you only need 1 or 2 players but in our situation it just makes it a more difficult task.

In regards to the site, yes it has  "After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. Some elements of the new site are unfinished, such as; page numbering and quotations. We will fix these minor issues as soon as we can, please bear with us" 

As they say please bear with them while they make the fixes which they're doing ASAP, it may have a few glitches currently but at least we still have a forum to use.

I'm not seeing the point in Ashworth right now. He's on the field less than Trueman was. 

I hear criticism towards Fash. But at least he's out there having a go. Where is Ashworth? Sleeping on the physio's bench.

Think that is a bit harsh, at least see how he goes this year, can't really do anything about a head knock which is why he didn't play last week.

Little said about Holmes other than he has a knee injury which we know about and restricted him to just a few games last season at Leigh

Do you think we could sign 4 good good SL domestic forwards, or three if we use our last quota spot (which I'd rather use for a half or centre)

Halfback could be dependant on how Charles and Kemp go this year. With Bourouh, Balmforth and Hutchinson we have a young hooking trio so hopefully Cust won't be needed there and with him only being 26 he could be here a fews years yet alongside one of the younger fellas.

Hopefully JC is just being polite about Sao. We should not be keeping him, been poor/ill disciplined for 2 seasons and now injured for a 3rd season. Needed a good season to be considering a deal. Let him go, let someone else take the risk and get fresh faces in.

Sam Eseh has joined on loan until the end of the season.

I don't think Eseh is good enough for Wigan's pack (certainly not at present), they're absolutely stacked in the forwards, so hopefully he goes really well for us and we could pursue the option of making it permanent. Though if they're losing Byrne next season they may be keen on keeping him
