Are you including the LF in that? I just dont see Agar only playing Fitz and Tickle for 60 minutes, particularly as Tickle is the goal kicker.

The more [utop quality [/uminutes we can get out of them, yes. But proper rotation of Fitz and Tickle is needed to do that. Players get injured and make mistakes when they are fatigued and the cumulative effect of 80 minutes week in week out for the big forwards playing a physical role definitely impacts on performance. Having Whiting or Washbrook at 13 gives that opportunity to keeo players fresh.

I cannot see Fitz playing many full 80 minutes for us next season like he has this season.



To get the best out of him we need to give him a breather.



Likewise Manu. I don't think Agar wanted to take him off for Hame last night with 7 minutes left but had no choice because he was dead on his feet.

Someone explain how you would fit Fitz, Tickle and Manu (possibly Hame aswell) into 2 positions?

I don't believe Fitz or Manu should be playing more than 60 minutes if we want to get the best out of them.



Tickle can of course play 80 if needed and we do need to consider the goalkicking if he's off the field.



Hame won't be on for more than 40 minutes and may find himself at prop next year.

Ok so Manu and Fitz do 60 minutes each. That gives Tickle 40 minutes. It just doesn't work.



The only way it could work is if you include the LF in the equation and play Washy, Fitz, Tickle and Manu all for 60 minutes each. But that isn't ideal either IMO.

Being saying it all season...he is an International prop, plus his defence is better in the middle.

We could have Whiting, Fitz or Hall (if he can get in the team). All are excellent kickers and if handed the duties would put way more practice in and improve their consistency.

Last night was the first time i've seen a rugby team adopt a man marker. With Tansey lining up at 6 in attack and 1 in defence it meant Whiting was mainly used as a defender putting super extra effort in. He managed to keep Newton quiet for almost all of the game. Really smart move by Agar.

question to all the people who dont rate him as a coach and constantly pick faults on his substitutions and team selections,well how come some weeks you all say he got everything spot on ie the derby and a few other games,then other weeks hes a clown etc,to me it was all there to be seen on thursday,he gets one player back as in calders in the position were we have struggled all year cos of his injuries,that solved many issues as it allowed him to move tansey and whiting around,problem solved,as for injuries to our half backs he answered the question at the forum he realy did think we was covered in that department but as we have all seen its not the case,think he know himself thats a big problem hence all the different combinations many of which dont work,whiting has been a massive help this year cos of his versitility theres no way he would of played the amount of games he has and hes had to cover for calders when we all know hes better suited elsewhere,[udo people honestly believe agar is that clueless and a poor coach [/uicon_confused.gif:

and yes i agree he has made some wrong choices with team selections and subs and naming players in squads and not playing them,but has he had his hands tied cos of injuries to players in key positions?? i believe he has.



we was all chuntering for the last 2 years which we had a damn right to do,we wanted players out and new playes in and thats what hes done,we are guaranteed play off football and when that comes around the big guns wil be back, come on guys we are 4th in the league with 5 games to go lets give rich and the players the final push to the business end of the season.
