I think Leeds are very beatable. The thing that struck me was the lack of quality on the bench yesterday. Their pack is mediocre without Peacock. I think us and Leeds could be pretty close throughout the season.

I thought there was few shocking VR decisions that went against Bradford!

To be fair we had Clarkson, Bailey, Huaraki and Peacock out of the pack.

I mentioned Peacock and yes Clarkson and Hauraki would improve you but are either likely to be playing on Friday? I don't think Bailey brings much to the table at all really.

Bailey steady's the defence and has a good offloading game. Also factoring in that Sinfield is playing stand-off meaning we are a second row short as Ablett is filing in. The biggest difference is with a full pack our bench is much stronger with potentially,

That's with Bailey, Clarkson, Kirke and Pitts missing out completely. The gap left by Sinfeild and the injuries at present has meant the bench certainly is very weak atm.

Any of those forwards back for Friday night, or is it the same squad from yesterday?

At Cardiff, Leeds didn't look anything like as good as they have in recent seasons (but then who did other than Hudds and Crusaders?). It was a travesty that they won. I honestly believe that if we pick our game up we have a good chance.



I'm a great admirer of Fitz and he did some good things yesterday but he needs to take more responsibility for the team as captain. He shouldn't have let himself get pulled into that punch-up (the team were never the same after that), and he should have laid the law down and got some of the players to pull their socks up - why did they never form a scrum to stop the clock? Why did we give away daft penalties? He should have sorted that on the pitch.

Bailey and Clarkson possibly, we are still awaiting new on Huarki's Visa so if it comes by this week he will play.

Yup, we played them five times under Sharp and won four times - twice at Headingley.

Are they as determined as they were last season before we played wigan at home when you told us they were gunning for revenge after we were hammered at the JJB or maybe as determined as they were to avenge the defeat against crusaders?

I think so. maguire has been the major difference between the 2 teams in recent years and he isn't playing. We need to defend much better though if we are to win
