I don't understand your issue  Rovers are the best team in both competitions and grinding out wins when not at their best which is the hallmark of a champion side. See things as they are not how you'd like them to be - facing the truth allows you to reconcile with it IMO.

Listen, I hate Rovers. I hate the derby, the banter, the hypocricy from both sets of supporters. I don't want both Hull clubs to be successful, just Hull FC. I want Rovers to lose every game they play.


However there is nothing wrong with acknowledging the fact that Rovers are a very good team. In the last three years or so they have gone from the bottom of the league to the top and are regular semi finalists and finalists. They have put together a very strong squad. When we were signing the likes of Evans, Pele, Okunbor, Tindall, Smith etc they were signing Hiku, May, Burgess, Davies, Batchelor, Whitbread. Sadly their long trophy drought is likely to end soon.


Hull's job is to put together a similarly strong squad and keep them fit. Then match Rovers on the pitch and go past them.

We'll still be 4th going into the Magic weekend regardless of the result on Sunday.

Indeed. Also after Sunday we have played last year's Grand Finalists 5 times this season already, have been to France and Wire. Even our easier games with Hudds, Cas and Wakey were away. It's not been the easiest start.
