Rumor around the town has it that the winning pay from the final has yet to reach the players!!!!!!

the lads, many of them local, play their hearts out, and for what ? a free bar, where did the money come from for that............. their winning pay from what I hear.

I have to say that the club can easily stop the rumours such as this by making a statement to deny it, the fact is folk from the club read this site so are aware of the views expressed. This has nowt to do with the tax issue directly so there is no excuse in my view to not quash this particularly disturbing. Remember whether true or not it was the players not the directors or fans that actually won promotion and the club should show them the respect they deserve.

The title says it all.. rumour. Why dont we all start a different rumour regarding the club and then demand the club respond to it?



Just leave the club to sort out the current situation and I am sure that as soon as it is we will all be informed. Helen reads this board so it doesn't go unnoticed. Why should she take time out to post on here about players wages or release a press statement, when she and the rest of the club are probably busy sorting out a more pressing matter at the club.



Who did you hears these rumours off? Anyoe credible or a man in the street.
