Going up against the Catalans with only three props is not a winning game plan and we didn't win. All three props tried their very best but Coley was missed and so was our fourth prop.



It was a Union ground where the pitch looked soft and cut up easily. Everyone was slowed down by it. Compared to Brutus it looked very slow.

At one point Baille caught Pat Richards! What's that all about? Our faster backs had no chance and were repeatedly caught. Then they tried to push the pass which ended up with knock on after knock on.

Then taking into account Silverwood's first half penaltython it wasn't what you may call the most entertaining match of the season.

Sam was our most attacking threat but had a hip injury for the final 30 mins and could hardly walk never mind run. He couldn't be subbed as Finch was already injured and off the field.



I still think if it had been played at Brutus we may have knicked it due to our faster pace. Maybe the pitch is why Trent Robinson dropped Bosc, not for form reasons but to play Sa at 6 who is another big man pounding down the middle.

Once again Henderson and Dureau ran the show for them behind their monster pack. Very frustrating, Waney wouldn't have played three props against those guys, it's simply not in his DNA to do something like that!

I was there also. Loved the stadium and great atmosphere but Wigan were out muscled up the middle and desperately missed the bulk of Coley.

I forgot about this... To much french beer still in the system

Great venue, although those upper seats are bloody dangerous after a few beers. Great support from the Catalan crowd. We where sat amongst them and they where a great bunch even though we couldn't understand the banter you sort of get the gist

I was there. Very narrow pitch which suited their game of big men taking it up the middle. We struggled to lay any platform in the forwards and Coley was a massive miss.



Loved the stadium though. Great view and very close to the players
