Looking at the table already, it's pretty obvious teams are going to be taking point of each other all year. I think Leeds and Saints will be consistant enough to take those top two spots but the rest are wide open and we'll get on a run at some point.

Yep, I'm confident we'll make the four. Once we start playing rugby where we're supposed to (i.e. the opponent's half) we'll be ok.

Whether we do or don't, it is refreshing that the regular season games now have some significance. There are now consequences to losing. Just because we're the team who's lost a couple and are now under a bit of pressure to get it together doesn't change the fact that my interest in the competition is greater than in recent years.

Agreed, and that's why two cheers to the new system are merited. It may mot be a genuine fair chance for Championship sides to make the SL under an equal footing, but it has fulfilled the aim of trying to making each match matter.

We can if we want to. But we need to be disciplined. Joel Tomkins needs to stop thinking he's cock of the school, Liam Farrell needs to lose his petulance and arrogance, Josh Charnley needs to learn how to defend, Joe Burgess needs to concentrate on Wigan and not Sydney, Anthony Gelling needs to stop the brain farts, we need a settled 6 & 7 combination and Michael McIllorum needs to learn some leadership skills. But more Importantly we need to learn to play and win without Lockers. Some of the forwards need to step up a little and find their game. Larne Patrick has been disappointing and Tautai is finding his feet at a new club I do hope he gets better, and more importantly let's hope Ben Flower comes back a better person and player.



Sort them issues out and we'll be there or thereabouts, because as things stand we look average and most teams will be confident of beating us.

I think yes, hopefully the loss at Cas will be the kick up the ar$e the team needs to turn the poor form around. It's early days so I'm staying optimistic, for now anyway!

Well thank God the NRL has started on Premier is all I can say. The gulf in quality is there for all to see.

Well, maybe, but often not in entertainment.The NRL can be dull, dull, dull.

It's all a matter of opinion but tonight on sky I expect loads of handling errors, missed tackles and refs whistle. If I had to give up one of Premier Sports or Sky for my rl viewing it's no contest.

I watched the Melbourne Storm game on Monday to see how Blake went (He was quiet -but didn't look out of place - apart from kicking a 40/20 attempt straight into touch!). A high quality game no doubt, but by half time I was bored.



Contrast that with the Catalans/Salford game. A coaches nightmare you would reckon. But I know which game had me on the edge of my seat and which game I enjoyed most. (Rangi Chase gets a bad press here but he was brilliant at times).

I'd like to see how Blake got on too, but the Storm can be the dullest of the dull!



Not-dull sides for me, who try to play positive footie, would be the Warriors and the Panthers. And the Cowboys.



As for Rangi Chase, I agree. I might not want him in my team, but I'm glad he's in our game.

Without stating the obvious its any 4 from Catalan, Leeds,Saints Wigan & The Wire.



Injuries will play a massive part this year, in previous seasons when every game didn't always count a Coach could rest a player that had a niggling injury but now a Coach cant afford to rest a player for a game or two & must play his best 17 each week. Perhaps not now because its early season and Coach's are thinking we can catch up but come May time every game really will count.

How did we get smashed by this Cas team? They are so average.
