Given the lack of a proper home and the dwindling fanbase together with Mr Hughes management style I don't think many of us were expecting a return to SL anytime soon, we just need to survive and who knows, eventually we may end up with someone with the Money, Vision, Drive and Planning abilities to realise loftier ambitions!

The thing is you do have far more fan base potential than any other club, how the hell you get that potential into numbers through the gate is the million dollar question.

I'd say that a stable home ground is definitely the first thing, moving grounds loses fans, as Fax found when moving from Thrum Hall, those fans take some getting back, if they ever can be.

Once you have the foundation of a home in place then you can start to build, until then I think it will always be a struggle.

Sorry if you feel this is obvious but thought I'd chip in, it would be great for all RL if you could kick on and increase crowds.

To be honest I would prefer Gillingham over Ealing. At least they have a proper stadium and firm plans to move to a new one .
