Going down the Ben Barba route of bringing in a full back, I read that Brett Stewart is considering a move to SL? To be honest I'm not that well versed on NRL players, but don't think Carney would be taking us in the right direction given his track record.

Tuimoala Lolohea is a cracking player and I'd have him here in an instant.

I to like the look of this kid but feel it would be a smack in the face to Dec Patton,if we brought a young kid in what the that say to Patton irrespective of his ability.

He is, but I think you'd have the same trouble that some of your fans have with Ratchford. People don't seem to truly know his best position.

Patton will get plenty of game time this year, Gidley will be given plenty of time off to rest up.



Pattons aim should be to prove over this coming season that he is good enough to replace Gidley when he retires at the end of the year. He had a good year last season, but personally think he has more to prove he is able to lead a top SL side round the park.

He'd be the best player in SL by some margin.

If he was given a chance on a reasonable deal for one year with a second year option I'd be happy enough.



Probably would only feature in half our games, not unlike Gidley. But would still make a valid contribution and Patton would be getting game time.



There's certainly a lot of entertainment value to be had from Carney and he's a proven match-winner. Bearing in mind there's not much else on offer we could do worse than give him a chance... expect the worse, nothing more and maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised.

Not sure why he'd come to Warrington and be a world beater all of a sudden.

I thought he looked very good in patches for Catalan, his problem was putting any sort of a run of games together.

We won't be signing Carney. Talks have broken down.

I hope Carney signs. For the past few decades Warrington have always given us something to laugh about. Signing Carney would ensure 2017 would be the same

As a Saints fan I guess you have to look for entertainment elsewhere as its been in short supply at Langtree Park...unless you count the sound of the wailing and gnashing of teeth over the signing of the Prodigal Son

Laughing about signing carney, you just signed wilkin for another 2 years ,he's been dog sh it for the last few years so everyone's laughing at the entertainers

I can see the need to sign someone relatively quickly especially with Ratchford/Patton injuries but I think Carney is not the answer.
