Must do better. Feel I have been saying that for last 15 years. For the most part we turn up for games against Saints and Wigan apart from the Vegas game, I’m sorry that’s just not good enough. I watch all our games and win or lose you can see the effort levels.


I can accept a loss if you can see they tried but so many times I’ve turned around and said to the guy next to me they have stolen a wage today. I get it that on the day the other team could be having the game of their lives, but that does not stop you from trying. They are getting paid to play and the fans are paying to watch. Fans at least need to see effort.


I have been concerned about this season from early on and have heard some stories that if there is any truth in them would make my blood boil. Of course I don’t know the truth so no point printing what I have been told but none the less it bothers me. In my opinion we are a long way off from being as professional as Wigan and most likely HKR now.

Ratchford in the halves is a scary thought, put Currie in there and Ratchford at centre

Leigh always have this uncanny knack of playing out of their skins against us and Saints. Then roll over to Wigan nearly every time. To say i?m not looking foward to this.. especially with Williams out. 

The back-up plan was always to play Dufty in the halves, but with CTW & Lindops injuries SB's a bit limited. He doesn't want to move Thewlis Snr off the wing. Not sure where that leaves Thewlis Jnr.

Not sure where that leaves Thewlis Jnr. *If* that is the backup plan then play Dufty in the halves and Ratchford at fullback where he has played hundreds of games. I suggest ,apart from possibly the Challenge Cup, we are way off the pace this year. Play Leyland & blood as many kids as he can ,they deserve a chance at least to show what they can do especially if some of them could be our first teamers for next year.
The team needs to be showing enthusiasm & laying down a marker to opponents right from the kick off .Too many times we are having to play catch up rugby.
