| Quote leeds owl="leeds owl"Saw the first 30 mins and then listened to the rest while travelling. Based on the 30mins I saw, we are still a team that lacks pace offensively. We are also lacking someone carrying the ball forwards through the heart of midfield. If the Jap is ready he needs game time and maybe the answer. Is it Farke’s decision to play inverted wingers ? If it is it may seem very fashionable but can kill any momentum with the player constantly checking back inside. Solomon was a prime example yesterday, checking back inside and then playing tippy tappy with Firpo, Aaronson etc instead of getting down the line. He doesn’t look overly fast neither. Early days, but we don’t want last seasons problems manifesting themselves with a different set of players.'"
The "Jap"? Is this the 1970's? Truly no need for such a use of this type of language. It's at best clunky and there good grounds to suggest racist. Goodness me.

| Can’t see anything immediately prior to this current page on this thread at the moment, I keep going back to Jul 2023. Must say, a very interesting discussion on Max Wober back then .

leeds owl Trebor1: leeds owl chapylad: Well I`ve been away for 3 weeks and so impressed with the results we have produced during that time. After being on the go for almost 30 hours and arriving home yesterday with a chuffing flu virus I was determined to watch the game. Couldn`t believe the Meslier howler and was starting to think it`s me jinxing the team. But a top class team performance got us home comfortably in the end. Firpo my MoM. Losing Ampadu is going to be a blow as Gruev doesn`t appear up to it. Agree Hamer should have got a second yellow for the foul on Rodon. Tanaka no way a yellow. Good substitutions again by Farke. Shame that Joseph just doesn`t seem to be the player I thought he would be. Rodon very good at the back again.
Hope you had a good one mate, holiday ?? Always trust an airplane to spread a load of bugs around! 12 games left, if Ampadu needs an Op, i cant see him playing again this season.. Yes mate spending some of my NHS pension after 42 years in the rat race and treating the other half to a big 60 birthday on a cruise around SE Asia.So annoyed I didn`t take my LU scarf and post whites on tour in Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Philippines etc. Think we caught the bug either on the ship and if we didn`t nearly everyone around us on the plane was coughing their guts out! Some excellent results but the next 2 or 3 could be pivotal as expectations are higher. My worry apart from Meslier of course is an injury at CH and we are up the creek. I also think Albion will be quite physical on Saturday and hope the ref gets on top of it early doors. Meslier will also have his work cut out at set pieces Saturday.

| I agree. WBA and tge 3 awkward games in 6 days are crucial. I'd take 5 points if I'm honest
