As I've already said, it was ill-judged and a symptom of the modern era; the instantanous nature of modern communications, together with its availability to the hard of thinking, means that this kind of thing happens all the time - this forum being a pefect example.



Regardless of the outcome of the disciplinary case, his club should be spoken to and asked to reinforce their social media policy and put him on notice to his future conduct. To suggest that it was part of a premeditated stitch-up job on Hardaker's part is something of a stretch.
