After watching highlights of yesterday's football, I wonder how any game could be played on Blackpools pitch, never mind two full days of rugby on it. We would be better off playing on't beach, cheaper too!

Seriously though, the pitch needs sorting out properly or the games will be a lottery especially for the ones playing on day two.

Now now Pete , theres nowt wrong with the Pitch at Bloomfield Road , come May it will be like a carpet , just how the Mighty Leythers like it , after all im overseeing the care of the Pitch .As for the week-end itself ?The Circus are putting on extra attractions , i myself am performing a Blindfolded knife throwing act , Greg FB has kindly volunteered to help

Very worrying indeed I understand the ground staff at BLackpool FC are very concerned that with only four months to go and with nine first team matches in that period there is little chance of the pitch being ready.

The RFL have promised a pitch inspection at 9 am tomorrow morning with a decision about the games going ahead by 12 noon.

A spokesman for the RFL explained " that should give all the spectators plenty of time to decide if they should set of"

Phew, that was close, however the games are to go ahead, the only stipulation is that no donkeys will be allowed on the pitch between now and then.

FCHALIFAX have been informed their friendly has been cancelled.

I myself will have the last waltz before the game arrives.
